Shea Morris
Shea was born and raised in Scott City, Kansas. While attending Scott Community High School, he played multiple sports, including four years of High School golf. Afterwards, he attended Northwest Kansas Technical College in Goodland, Kansas to study precision ag. Shea began working for Berning Farms in middle school around 2014, starting in a part-time position mowing grass during the summers and eventually working his way up to a full-time position after graduating college. As part of his current responsibilities, he operates spray rigs, combines, drives trucks, and does anything else necessary to contribute back to the farm.
His work philosophy revolves around showing up with a positive attitude and a willingness to give his best effort each day. He admits to being clever and keeps zip ties and duct tape nearby to deal with any issue. He has a passion for demolition derby car competitions and wants to compete as long as his body will let him. A lifelong dream of Shea’s is to attend a Master’s Golf Tournament on a Sunday. He is a proud father to his daughter Brynlee who was born in 2023, enjoys golfing, fixing his latest demo car, and considers himself easygoing, funny, and an optimist.
