Brooks Bailey

A Scott City native, Brooks has spent his entire life in western Kansas. Throughout high school, he excelled in multiple sports, including playing football as a receiver, cornerback, and return specialist. Farming had always been an interest, but he didn’t get his first real opportunity until the summer of 2025, when he joined Berning Farms during wheat harvest. Since then, he’s grown into a versatile farm hand, running the grain cart, spraying, spreading manure, operating combines, and jumping behind the wheel of a truck whenever needed.

Alongside farm work, Brooks is continuing his education in construction technology. He’s currently working through courses in house framing, exterior treatments, roofing, concrete pads, and wooden stair construction.

In his free time, he loves to travel, spend days at the lake, golf with family and friends, and take his Golden Retriever, Breck, out for walks. His long-term goals include getting married and starting a family, buying land and building a home, and eventually owning and operating his own business.
