Edward (Eddy) Kieser
Originally from Pretoria, South Africa, Eddy grew up working on farms, where he developed a natural interest in fieldwork and raising crops. After finishing school, he took a “gap year” abroad, first landing in Scotland, selling gas and electricity. It didn’t take long for him to realize that wasn’t his calling, so he moved on to London, only to find the pace a bit too fast for his liking. From there, he headed to Milton Keynes, where he worked in a factory producing bubble wrap before eventually returning home. Back in South Africa, he spent his time working on cars and just about anything with a motor and a tank of gasoline.
On the farm today, Eddy proudly calls himself an “all-arounder.” Whether it’s running tractors, driving trucks, building fences, or tackling whatever job pops up, he’s game. Give him instructions and he’ll get it done, and if he doesn’t know how, well, as he likes to say, “Google is your friend.”
Eddy is known for his knack for wheeling and dealing, always spotting the bargain of the day. In his words, “When something talks to you, there’s money to be made.” In his spare time, he enjoys hosting braais, making his own sausage, and spending time with friends. Thanks to years of motocross, he’s broken so many bones that it’s easier to list the ones he hasn’t.
